Ice prep for office door- close door on wax paper and cover knob with rolled up mitten.

Food delivery fail- Instructions are to pull to back of parking lot and leave bags on chair and bench. This is not my door and it is an office  door grrr

The view from my deck this past week has offered up some amusing scenes. I would have loved to shout out "turn around" to the 4 guys (separately)rounding the bays to take a leak, But I resisted the temptation. While doing dishes the other night I saw this light over a door. At a quick glance I thought Motel 6 we'll ;leave the light on for you. Then that morphed into a scene on a foggy London night. But all in all it was comforting. Even though there are plenty of light below to guide people!

amazon package finally in my mailbox ordered on December 3rd with delivery date of Dec, 8th. Got email that it was delivered in my mailbox NOT on the 10th. It arrived, torn, ripped and opened but nothing was missing.

Even my beach cane meant for sandy terrain I would not trust in this crap. So used my walker to get trash to the barrel and fed the birds. Felt guilty about not feeding the birds on Sunday. One bird was there waiting. It is brutally cold and that infernal wind!Those stairs only used in warm weather.

now back to cleaning apartment.

As I was doing my late afternoon exercises before shower & supper I was thinking of posting this photo taken at Cape Cod Mall early 1980s. Then I remembered the family story each year when I was growing up. The story goes- I was sitting on Santa's lap , around 4- 6 years old. Pilgrim Gardens , Food Fair. On the corner was a small structure where Santa sat. While on his lap I remember staring at his beard and the mesh that held it together along the edge. Family always added the tidbit that everyone found funny even me. That I zipped his fly up and down while I sat there. Family would laugh at this each year. I am 77 years old and thought today didn't anyone find that odd? where did I learn to do that? My father was a molester. Let that be a clue. And a warning to anyone who knows children who act strangely for their age.`

Enough  of this pre Winter weather. ugh. I looked out the kitchen door and saw a decoration had flipped on the deck. Me and my curiosity got the better of me. Opened the door, flipped the decor around and the door & winds took me down. ugh. Got back up on my feet after a struggle. phew boy. Bet the bruises will be a lovely purple. LOL so screw that santa crap- I need some floral colors.

a couple of days ago I saw a bright red cardinal at the bird feeder. Have not seen one here in years. Must have been Jer Jer stopping by to say hello.

Cold out there but managed to walk 3 rounds in parkin lot. Then up here to unmould an ice sculpture. Failed it was just a shell of ice. And now hanging out a wash the air is "warm" woo hoo! and blue jay at feeder

wow cold on my hands taking pix. these are mermaid nails or I call them lacquer shells. I have a collection. Hard to see on the beach as they are translucent.

December 20 ice sculpture- Princess Crown. I have a few adult friends who believe women are princesses. I do not fall for that and am NOT one. But made a beaded one a few years ago and use it as a sun catcher in a window. so here ya go
