RANTS-Vertigo Migraines , Sinus, and panic attacks.

No photos for this one. I could paint a visual picture , but I won't.

Last Friday I looked forward to having the truck for errands. I had a lot to do.
Saturday was a nice day did food shop and other errands.
It is all a blur now though as I had a vertigo attack ( along with sinus and migraine headache and panic attack)on Sunday after lunch. I will spare you the gory details.

I have noticed recently on my free Wednesday bus trips that I am more than a little annoyed with the motion of the bus and the stuffiness. Nothing to do with the service or the people. Service is perfect. The people drivers and passengers are the reason I do this.

For food shop I went West and stopped at the overpasses for bikes at South Dennis and South Yarmouth, then to the church thrift shop to get some yarn. Then Shaws in Yarmouth. I noticed as I walked over the overpasses and wobbly sensation in my legs and chalked it up to excitement. I should have taken heed.

So Saturday late evening I sensed Sunday would be a grand day to walk the beach. So I did my apartment cleaning Saturday night in stead of on Sunday morning.

Sunday I was up early at 4 per usual. Did my exercycle, my chi gung. Grabbed my bottle of water and orange slices and headed to Hardings before 6am. oh it was gorgeous on the way out. Walked further than I intended because I could not find the legal cut through to the path to the dirt road. So I walked to the very end and entered near the dismantled lighthouse. As I walked toward the parking lot I realized why the walk to the end was so enjoyable. The wind was at my back. Now it was in my face. My hat blew off and I kept it off and took off my sunglasses. Two more strikes against me. The wind was warm but roared in my ears.
No problem until I got back here at breakfast did some chores ate lunch and was exhausted and took a nap. Woke up with a start and was so dizzy I practically fell many many times. So nauseous- you will fill in the blanks. I  finally calmed down a bit and laid down to nap never ate supper. Showered weak as I was and went to bed.
Monday felt fine. did usual routine. Then before lunch was dizzy and nauseous again. It was more terrifying this time and I stumbled to the phone and call 911 for an ambulance. They showed up a little before 1pm. The men were still below  but they were gone by the time I was lifted in a special chair down the steps and into the ambulance. That is always a scary ride to begin with but when you are queasy it is markedly so. They handed me a clear plastic sick sac and I held that to my face for most of the ride. I realized as I did so it was like an instrument to ease hyperventilation. It has a calming effect to breath in and out of the bag- essentially breathing my own carbon dioxide. So finally get to the ER and I am in a room. Bright lights and noise galore. I could not focus , could not sleep and kept trying to shield my eyes. They took all vitals same as in the ambulance, did a chest xray, and an MRI. Took blood and all that. I had no clue what time it was but I had to pee and flagged someone down. She wheeled me into the bathroom. I peed and washed my hands and was back lying down again. Still dizzy and slightly nauseous. I was offered a pill for that and thought I could not swallow it but I did. I guess around 7pm they asked me if they wanted them to call my brother to picked me up. yes. he was busy with his wife who just had knee surgery and and he sent his worker DelRoy. A what a grand sight to see DelRoy walking and waving at the waiting room.. Rode with him and we stopped at CVS in Harwich Port to pick up meds. The pharmacy closed at 8pm. So that had to wait until Tuesday.
Got up here and took a shower and went to bed.
Tuesday seemed fine had breakfast had lunch, used the truck after work to go to CVS for meds.had a light supper and went to bed early.

Wednesday- today woke up a little woozie but went ahead with the usual bathroom routine and then wham another attack. I quickly grabbed the medicine bottles and took a meclazine and laid down nauseous  dry heaves. ugh. Laid there like that until 9 tried to acclimate myself- no go. Turned on the computer so I could check facebook and could hardly see. Answer emails from 3 people posted on facebook that I was "down" again and missed everyone. Laid down for an hour waited for the alarm to go off to take another meclazine. and nap some more and do computer checking to keep mind busy.
Saw Jer and we chatted through the window. Chelsea is down helping so Jer can work.
Made some black coffee, ate some orange slices and some toast with honey and a WASA bread with honey. Trying to keep some strength going. Gold fish sound good but I know they are too greasy.

Feeding birds and checking snail mail will have to wait.

later

disregard any typos etc I have done enough editing LOL

HIKES-Bike Overpasses- South Dennis & South Yarmouth

Watched these being constructed. It seemed to take a couple of years. Sure is a welcome addition to the bike paths- making it safer. Also affords a pretty cool lofty view! of traffic LOL

from this end you get to see Mid Cape Lumber and Breakaway fuel. I have to say being on the overpass is a bit wobbly for the legs- like it is treacherous. It is not and I feel it is secure. Just that sensation.

South Yarmouth  next:
nice sky- it has been "iffy" all day. sun clouds, thunder lightning dark skies etc.

The picture of the woman with a drink and smoking was interesting. At first I thought she was young and bored. Then upon closer examination of the photo that is an older hand. oh well interesting like I said. Older meaning in her 30s or 40s. NOT old like me LOL
