2026: OCTOBER

 October 4

Was washing my bird feeder a few days ago. Getting it back below I have to walk down the stairs out there backwards. In doing so the bottom of the feeder dropped off and rolled under the stairs. Into never never land of  wet leaves. I had given up finding it with my small rake-hoe. Thought just now I would take a photo of the area and see if it shows up! Got down there and just as I approached the area the sun burst through the fence and highlighted something green! yay! feeder reunited with its bottom. phew.

October 8

Litter picked up on my 5 rounds. Lost count after 20 cigarette butts. The icing on the cake was 2 neon green bags of dog shit. What mentality is involved in doing that I wonder. It smells. I have to go down there and double bag it as trash is not for over a week now.

October 18

There has been what I thought a small branch stuck in the wildthing opposite my door below. I keep checking on it as it looks like it wants to loosen and conk me on the head. Recent rains really loosened it and I was able to pull it out- wow it was bigger than I thought and felt like it was resisting my pull!

Lovely day. while below cleaning up- the one flower pot is still giving me joy.

We had a long stretch of bad weather but it cleared on the 12th and I was able to do  a hand wash. During that stretch of weather I was unable to feed the birds. They thanked my by shitting on my favorite T shirt. It took 3e treatments to remove that stain.

October 15

got below  and found 3 empty gas cans blocking my way- they had blown in the winds. so I moved them to a more sheltered spot- hoping no more tending LOL

October 9 food delivery left at office. I ask that it be put on chair and bench in my area. But this day was so windy I was glad they misplaced them LOL

October 15

tree to the side of parking lot each year is very aromatic. This year nothing but it has bright red leaves

My foot mat with 3 cat assholes finally wore out. So I flipped it over (nice pattern) and double duty.
