The day started strangely I awoke earlier than the alarm. It was supposed to rain I think. All a blur right now. I was wearing my work boots. Noticed after a few minutes that the left foot felt strange. The insert for the left boot was hanging out.
I did not find out Roger died until the next day. I checked facebook first as always and Tony Murphy had sent me a personal message. I quickly went to yahoo email and there was the email from Mary.
Still hard to believe and this post will take a while to make comments.
That Sunday I explored Schoolhouse pond before going to the laundry.

September 10
I promised Mary I would stop by to pick up a quilt Mom had made for Roger. Added to that later was to help Mary connect her new printer to her lap top. It was to be between 10 and 11 am after I food shopped. Hooked it up for her- no ink so naturally it will not print. Let's hope there are no problems once ink arrives!
I had distinctly remembered Mom making a zig zag quilt. This was not zig zag and was heavy. Nothing Mom could have handled with her hands. But hey I could be wrong. So I had laundry to do after a month the next day and it ws so heavy I had them do it- cost 22 bucks LOL
Also in the bag with the quilt was a pillow Mom did with needlepoint. I remember that and me being the one to sew it together with a cat pattern backing and zipper. Then Mary gave me a choice of a momento of Tattoo flash art.
