2025: APRIL

Laundry day for pick up and delivery. I drop the bags off the deck hoping they land on the chairs below- a fun game LOL  they pick it up and deliver it a few hours later. I used to have a sign on the chairs to leave laundry on the chairs. Invariably it is delivered on the chairs or the guy is brave enough to climb the outside stairs and plunk on the deck.

This is what greeted his  sight LOL so now just about everyone has been frightened by my panties getting their solar charge for my wonder woman  super powers.

Baby steps

Stopped raining long enough for me to check mailbox and feed birds. also moved 4 bricks. one at a time. now a nap is screaming my name.

laundry

apparently I dropped the laundry below for delRoy on the 2nd of July and it was picked up Wednesday and delivered Wednesday but I did not retrieve it until Thursday July 4th.

Boiught a Kindle Fire that did not work so was returned not without a hassle oh now I rememberf I could not get it to do English as a language

The garden I planted in Junne was a disaster I could not get out there to water so my onlt enjoyment was the hydrangeas I could see from the deck.

April 2024

Almost 9 months ago I fell backwards and hit my head and cracked bones etc and managed to get covid so they found when I was in the emergency room. No joke I am still recovering. But my hobby for almost 20 years was documenting gravestones. It took me until TODAY to be able to work on my photo files of what I had done in 2024 and before. I was trying to update my blog at the same time and gave up as the blog had glitches. But it sure felt good to label 4-5 gravestone pix just now from April 2024. I can feel the cold air on my face from that day like it was today. These were all stone they had dug up and were going to re-set. Though I will never get out there again and see the results I did accomplish something

felt good to be able to accomplish this at last. My brain felt like it froze when I tried for 8 months.

2025: MARCH

 ah finally- food order up here and wiped off and ready to put away. Took over an hour. The driver offered to bring it up here-  but I need the exercise. His car smelled like Dead Zone from up on my deck. So now I get to finally finish the last part of breakfast- hot black coffee and pumpernickel toast with red raspberry jam. My food order treats this week are Dutch Pee Wee potatoes and classic round crackers. always seeking a slightly salty treat cracker that does not misalign my jaw with its rusticness or cur the roof of my mouth. who eats those cedar shake shingles anyhow?

2025-FEBRUARY

 well late start adding to February and will be out of ordeal per usual

February 12

so I came in here to play dordle and eat my lunch. I hovered over some bull shit about "do not shut down" and it talking at me. Shut down computer and wanted to do a system restore. That took forever. I wanted a piece of toast. and this happened. so I ended up moving my problem lamp ( do not ask) and here we are almost 2 hours later. One slice of bread went into the toaster itself.That was fun removing.

February 9

Finally switched out my stress balls.

the purple one was a baseball and a freebie from CCB7T or TD Bank - the Chatham Office has to be over 10 years old. When it started to crumble and wear out I would cover it with purple duct tape. Then in 2024 I was looking for a replacement and saw this one which came with a basketball backboard and hoop with net LOL  I will hook that up some day but for now it is part of my hand exercises routines

2025: JANUARY

 The freaking winds finally calmed down and I got out there and checked my mailbox. And walked 3 rounds while I was at it. felt good. Came in to do inhaler and exercise routine. The sun was perfect towards the end of exercises. So I figured supper was going to be later than usual anyhow so took a break from knit & walk and took some pix.

I have not worked with my prisms and crystals for a couple of years. Felt good to get back to something normal for me.

January 19 

Sun is shining!Parking lot was a skating rink. So to be productive I fed birds then did a mega handwash . Because who knows when weather will permit it again. As I was hanging the wash out a bird flew over and left a thank you note via air mail. Looks like he pigged out at the red berries first. I am so lucky!
