Cold out there but managed to walk 3 rounds in parkin lot. Then up here to unmould an ice sculpture. Failed it was just a shell of ice. And now hanging out a wash the air is "warm" woo hoo! and blue jay at feeder

I do puzzles every day and try to hone my problem solving skill at every opportunity. Not easy  with so much turmoil in the world. But I TRY. This morning beautiful bright horizon predawn. Got out there to feed birds. Forced myself to walk to the mailbox. On my way I noticed the truck was missing a tread! Mystery solved. One had blown into my area below a few days ago. I pushed it aside with my cane. So picked it up this morning and placed it on the truck seat.. Maybe 5 years ago I would have struggled and tried to reattacch it myself. BUT I have learned too many hard lessons for 2 years straight- Know my limits. Very tedious to constantly being in recovery mode with this body.

Carbon monoxide leak ,plumbers shut down boiler and furnace. after all that they showed up today to put the cap om gas stack that has been missing for 5 years at the welders. Dead bit=rds inside caused the leak

Flying saucer or crsscent moon you decide.

Been up since 3:30am -hauled racks out on deck for drying again.  Made split pea soup, 3 days of Dutch  potatoes, 2 days of basmati brown rice. Fed birds. working on breakfast and in dire need of hot black coffee.

so I have a note for my food delivery lately to bring it upstairs on to the deck and please do not block my door. Still recovering from fall back in June of 2024 and also seem to be in the habit of reinjuring myself in same spots or coming up with new ways to hobble -like injure hip using the fucking cane. go figure.Or taking the bus. So today where does the food get delivered? I got a text saying it was delivered but it was not on the deck or below on the 2 chairs like they did for months. I thankfully could check the email they send saying  "Your food has been delivered" and a photo is attached. Here it was delivered below on a step blocking a door. So I ended up doing stairs 5 times. Exercise is good right? my photo not theirs

Pipe leak shows in ceiling in bay. what was thought to be the drain pipe broken in my shower was a proken leaky pipe. Fixed now. but another busy Monday trying to clean apartment. I was talking to a friend on the phone while plumber was here and HE had broken pipes under his condo.

then a wheeled contraption showed up below. apparently a landscaping device. why there though ho hum.

I bought Lysol Laundry Sanitizer a few years ago. I finished the bottle and said never again. I switched to Clorox sanitizer because: bottle had a handle, it was easier to use. The cap closed securely. It had clear instructions on the bottle. Just to mention a few of the reasons. Well recently I ran out of Clorox and had to get Lysol. Still the issues with hard to hold , no instructions-I had to call an 800 number. And the lid is difficult to secure properly so it does NOT leak. I have my laundry done and have to write out instructions. I no longer drive. Please improve your bottle make it easier to grasp and make the inside of the lid easier to read.Thank you.

This rant will be long so grab a beer or a mug of something hot and sit down.

I guess doing my daily puzzles each day and constantly being challenged by consumers goods and services will keep my brain functioning. There is plenty of material to choose from. Laundry day tomorrow and I had to write up another list. name phone number  and wash/dry/deliver instructions.I started using Lysol Laundry sanitizer in 2020. Then found the bottle ungainly and cap leaked and bottle had no handle. So switched to Clorox laundry sanitiizer. Ran out a while ago and Clorox one was out of stock. Crap ended up with the Lysol brand again. AND NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Still bottle no handle and lid leaks unless I use an air wrench to  tighten it . And since it had been 5 years I forgot the measurements etc. Bottle has a label on the back that says peel here. Peeled it and nothing on reverse nothing witten on bottle. So had to call 800 number. They needed the barcode number.  Finally get her to tell me the ribbed lines marked 2 inside lid are for HE machines. Later I asked what size load and she says "medium" . How convoluted can we get? So fine I can proceed with the handwritten list. Then I contacted Lysol on their page. Hope it burns holes in their WiFi connection.

Purchase amount. I would have to look back on email with that listed and seriously that is very inconvenient for me. I am not asking for money back- pretty sure it was close to 10 dollars.just fix the issues I mentioned. Lack of a handle, lid horrendous to open and then secure. Lack of instruction on the bottle. etc.

my name is Cynthia Moore and that is in my email address. I have no intention of giving you my mailing address. Like I said I am not asking for money back. I will use what I have . Each time I send it to the laundromat ( I not longer drive and cannot lift so have to pay to have laundry done in a public laundromat) I transfer amount needed into a Meyer's bottle that at one time had lavender fabric softener in it. THAT has a handle and a lid/cap  that is secure. It would also help if you said the ounces needed and not have to see inside the lid and look for ribbed stripes. Lids get broken. OUNCES would help.

for a few years I wondered why the street cleaner no longer came through here.Then I figured the massive puddle on the North side was preventing them from coming through. This Summer after torrential  rains the new owner of the health club had the puddle pumped and knock wood there has been no problem since June? So I called and asked if the cleaner would come through. Yes after all public roads are done. so I got antsy when it still did not happen in October.  Called a few days ago and was told it was on the list.  I could hear the cleaner come through as I was up on a ladder changing another fucking bulb. Got done and yay I saw the sweeper pass by here at least 3 times. Was able to get below and check it out and take pix. I was so happy I cried. It used to be treacherous under foot.

So Wednesday I noticed something big had blown into the yard below.Even with binoculars I could not tell what it was. So checked it out when I fed birds this morning. They were noisy and ravenous by the way. As I got closer  I hoped it was cut in half and a litter of kittens were inside. but nope looks like equipment from the health club. That's as close as I  ever want to be to exercise equipment ( I  do exercise though) Gently kicked it in their direction.

I was on the deck hanging out clothes when guy pulled into a spot below. He finally got out of his truck and I hollered after him twice- he better have had earphones on. He did not turn his head.

small turnip, roasted  Dutch potatoes, rainbow baby carrots thickened with roasted sweet potato. Garlic powder. and catsup for the tomato sauce.Served on top of half slice pumpernickel bread.
