2:12 am Friday- the raccoons left the building. Not without having a fart festival earlier. Mother and 4 kits took a long time deciding how to get to ground. I kept saying "use the stairs" as I always do to these rascals. They eventually take my advice. one little one kept climbing back up the wall toward the eaves. Mother would grab the kit by the neck. They are so freaking adorable. Well worth all the sleepless nights from the noises they made. I took a video but it will take a while to post.

The mother kept trying to teach them how to use the stairs. Most of them preferred the deck railing then to the stairs outside railing. Only one- the tiniest- followed mother down the stairs.
