HIKES-Small's Swamp North Truro Massachusetts

Planned this a couple of days in advance thinking after a stretch of rain we would get a clear day.Well we did but also got powerful winds and cold temps. woo hoo.
**
I have this book- In The Foot Steps of Thoreau and try to choose hikes I can manage. Today I chose Small's Swamp trail at Pilgrim Heights   because the book said EASY. What part was easy I wonder- I had trouble just getting out of the truck. Did a trail loop only to find it was not the one to the swamp. Came back to the parking lot and walked to the pavilion and saw the swamp from above. Easy for Tarzan maybe to get too. good grief. Great day though and plenty of fresh air and blue skies.
