ART-Rock sweaters

I knit a lot and have yards and yards of scrap yarn. It was very hot here one day and my brain said make some yarn wrap rock sweaters.
Made them and then placed them at the family graves.

HIKES-Harding Beach wild life crabs!

Got down there early, a little after 6am on July 3 2016- delightful! But got hungry so it was less than an hour walk :)

RANT-Chair Clutter

We all have that one chair- it may have your pajamas from the night before draped over, or ironing to be done or like me- the entire apartment becomes chair clutter about once a week. Any attempt to derail this habit is fruitless. I just get my act together each Sunday and "clean house". If I had a bigger place it would mean more cleaning and I would probably need 20 rooms.

the above is where I eat- so I keep that relatively clutter free. Daily journal, Netflix envelope, pens pencils and rocks. :)

HIKES-Shining Sea Bikeway

Finally got down there. Walked approximately 4 miles out and back. I was feeling a bit tired and could feel it in my hips! Old much!
Skies were sunny-cloudy every 5 minutes I swear. You can see Martha's Vineyard from the path, kettle ponds, memorial benches. It must be really great in cooler weather.

Entrance:

a bit of whimsy a short distance from here

mile markers. from the end where we began we saw Mile 3 first then Mile 2 of course.

last one is Quisset Beach association and the usual private beach rules- no dogs no rafts LOL

The first photo in the group is of bamboo. on our way back a landscaper was raking and admitted in a short conversation that they would be using poison on it to control it. I shuddered inside but nothing I can do. So stupid.

the last two of this group of photos are the ultimate in serenity AND I could hear a Prince-Frog call my name. :)
